As everyone knows by now, Disney has decided to formally conclude its 50th promotional online game, VMK as of May 21st, 2008. This comes has a huge surprise to the VMK user base. VMK has meant so much to so many great people, and so we don't want to sit around and do nothing about it.
We have been checking the various online communities, and noticed that everyone seems very interested in the idea of petitions and contacting Disney. However for any effort to be successful, we need direction and a unified position. This is where SaveVMKToday.com comes in, this campaign is about empowering YOU as a consumer, a Disney guest with the tools, help and information you need to support contact the right people to support VMK.
So explore this site, sign the petition, and make an effort to contact the right people about VMK. Visit the Campaign section for further details, including sample letters you can print off, email and/or fax to Disney to show your support. Also do the poll on the left, every little bit helps!
I know many of us are loyal to just one or two of the great many VMK communities out there; it's time to put our affiliations aside and work together for a common goal. We all 'heart' VMK and don't want to see it go!
